Madonna might be associated with acting and music, but her persona inspired something completely unrelated.
Madonna has often said she makes an effort to lead a healthy lifestyle. However, it seems the alcoholic beverages producer was unaware of this. The Material Girl Ale beer variety was named after the musician in 2004. The ale itself had a 7.5% alcohol content, and the label was a replica of the singer’s album cover art.
"With a new beer, we celebrated a significant event for us — Madonna's return to Manchester after ten years… We handed the singer a case of beer backstage, but we are not sure that she tasted it," said the owner of the brewery.
