Being controversial is this artist’s signature in show business.

Kanye West’s habit of laying up troubles for himself has deep roots. Although the rapper is on the verge of cancellation, this is not his first scandal with antisemitic statements. One of TMZ’s broadcasts served as a platform for the rapper to talk roughly about slavery and the Holocaust.

In 2018, the Internet once again united against Ye. The artist mentioned that slavery was simply people’s “choice”.

The musician just couldn’t come to terms with the idea of humans allowing bad treatment toward themselves for several hundred years. In his speech, Kanye also stated he sees the Jews Genocide similarly.

“When you hear about slavery for 400 years, for 400 years? That sounds like a choice! Like, you were there for 400 years, and it’s all of y’all? It’s like we’re mentally in prison. I like the word prison, because slavery goes too direct to the idea of blacks. It’s like slavery, Holocaust, Holocaust, Jews. Slavery is blacks. So prison is something that unites us as one race…the human race.”
