The Cuban-American actor decided to clarify the situation.

The “Office” sitcom became one of those places where actors could easily call each other family. Steve Carell’s off-script actions were clear proof of that.

One of the most scandalous scenes of the popular American TV show, where Steve kisses Oscar Nunez, was unplanned. As Oscar mentioned later in one of the interviews, the interaction should have been limited to a hug. Surprisingly, the actor liked the kiss a lot more than the original script.

“It was great. Just to have a lot of scenes with Steve, is great. And then he wasn't supposed to kiss me, we were just supposed to hug, and he kept hugging me. And that particular take he came in really close, and I'm like, ‘Where is he going with this?’ Oh, dear, yes here we go. And then I'm just thinking, ‘Oh God, nobody laugh so we can use it.’ And they didn't, and it worked perfectly. It was a lot of fun.”
