Martin Lawrence Nearly Died during “Big Momma’s House” Filming

Hollywood is not as funny as many people think. Even comedy filming might go horribly wrong if the lead actor takes their job too far.

Martin Lawrence was required to put on a huge latex suit on the “Big Momma’s House” set. The actor, dressed in woolen clothing and cling film,  went for a run to warm up for work. Lawrence suffered from heat stroke and dehydration and ended up in the hospital a few hours later.

He was hooked up to a ventilator for three days while in a coma with a temperature exceeding 40.
