That was a good solution.

Sharalee Armitage Howard, a woman from Idaho, USA, gave a new life to the hundred-year-old tree near her house. Here it is, to the right of the apartment. The tree was about to be cut, when an inspiration hit the woman.

She transformed it into a tiny free library for her neighbors and anyone who wants to read. The library works by the principle “take and share”. Those who don’t need books, bring them here, those who want, take it free of charge. Sharalee’s initiative was supported by the organization Little Free Library. It helped to build more than 75 000 mini-libraries in 88 countries of the world.
