Talent knows no Borders.

The 11-year-old Nigerian boy Anthony Madu could never think that love of ballet could pull him out of the slums and give new perspectives of the future. The young dancer just did what he loved most and the results didn’t take long.

Anthony is living in the city of Lagos, Nigeria, where he attends a local ballet academy, founded by a non-professional dancer Daniel Owoseni Ajala. Of course, the conditions leave much to be desired; however, that doesn’t restrict Anthony in his achievements.

The real fame came to him when the boy shot a video, dancing under the rain. That got unexpected reactions of admiration, and even Award winner actress Viola Davis reposted it on her social network.

Soon a New York based ballet academy noticed Anthony’s selfless dance and made a suggestion for collaboration. The boy could have an express learning course during the summer, while all the expenses were covered by the academy.

As for his teacher, Daniel got the opportunity of participating in a two-week training for tutors.
