The actress seems to have drawn a lesson from it.
Sophia Loren has found the secret of living a long and happy life. And her experience has given the actress a clue to the early death of the 20th century's most iconic woman.
The Hollywood star Sophia divulged her priorities in a candid interview with BBC in 1979. Despite loving some alone time, she thought isolation could have a reverse effect on humans. The actress felt sure the reason behind Marilyn Monroe's death was the absence of friends. Loren said:
"I never met Marilyn but I thought she died because she couldn't endure it any longer to be alone. I think she had no friends and I think she killed herself…she had no friends to talk to.”
