The movie star was too young to make such a serious decision.

Ryan Gosling had every chance to win a Grammy. However, a lack of faith kept the actor from reaching greater heights.

During Jimmy Fallon's evening show, the members of the Backstreet Boys admitted a few years ago, they had invited Gosling to join them. When the most popular band of the 90s was just being formed, the "La La Land" star rejected their offer. Ryan didn't believe the Backstreet Boys would have much success.

“Long story short, we used to live in the same apartment complex when he was doing The Mickey Mouse Club. Him, Justin, Christina, Britney, all of them. We were playing basketball almost every other day. The group had started. I kept telling him how big this was gonna be. And he's like, ‘Dude. New Kids already did it. This is never gonna work. Just shoot the ball.’ Cut to he was wrong and it did work.”
