The actor didn’t trust himself.
Robin Williams made everyone laugh while chaos was quietly reigning in his soul. The actor lacked the willpower to deal with life challenges and opted for the easiest solution.
The famous comedian committed suicide in his own home. Initially, tabloids wrote about his alcohol addiction, but his wife, Susan Schneider, refuted this version. She said Robin suffered from acquired dementia and was in a prolonged depression because of it.
“He was going crazy–and he knew it. It's hard to imagine the pain he felt when he felt like he was falling apart. But no one–no amount of sympathy and love, nothing could stop what was happening to him. He repeated: "I want to reboot my brain." I will never know the true depth of his suffering. I saw how this brave man could not cope with the most difficult role in his life."
