The legend would not have thought of that.
Michael Jackson had an army of fans, but even the most devoted ones could not understand how he preserved the voice and body of a teenager in his 40s. However, a French doctor found the answer to that “mystery”.
According to the doctor, the reason is the chemical castration which developed as a side effect of the acne medication the singer allegedly took at 12 years old.
Alain Branchereau claims to have spotted castrate indicators in Jackson’s open autopsy. A young boy was deprived of his male libido to keep the angelic voice.
The physician even wrote a book to prove the King of Pop was given cyproterone, a drug prescribed to girls. Except for a few coincidences, Branchereau lacked much proof. But his work might explain how Michael could still display such a wide vocal range at the outset of maturity.
