It reminds people about their own faults.
The residents of the northern Megapolis Bilbao, Spain, had to get used to a very ambitious performance created by the Mexican sculpture Ruben Ororsko. A huge face of a girl, created by hyperrealism techniques, recently has adorned the navigable river Nervion.
According to the citizens, the alive and naturalistic face of the girl, recurring hiding underwater and appearing on it’s surface during ebb and flow, looks way creepy. The idea is based on the attempt to draw public attention to Earth problems. The representative of the charity company that has sponsored the performance has their own explanation. He clarified that humanity should take responsibility for future turns, happening by his fault. As an example he recalled climate change.
