Ivanka Trump’s constant presence in the White House was an absolute nightmare for the first lady. Melania Trump was forced to take extreme measures to preserve her mental health.
Looks like she silently started a fashion race with the relative. She used to boycott every brand Trump’s daughter wore. Melania’s ex-bestie, Winston Wolkoff, who wrote a memoir about their friendship, described the wife’s policy toward Ivanka. ELLE reports that Wolkoff once said:
“If Melania saw Ivanka wearing a particular dress, she would cross that designer's name off of potential designers she would wear. After Ivanka wore a KaufmanFranco dress for an event, that designer was apparently no longer on Melania's list for consideration."
