Some residents of the Nizhny Tagil, an administrative center of the Sverdlovsk Region, Russia, apparently miss the good old times. Their love for the period when the social media weren’t even formulated and the internet was a far dream, is expressed by giving tribute to one of the oldest video games.
The facade of the two 9-storey blocks, decorated with pixel art, honors the legendary video game character, the plumber Mario. Well, so what? one may ask. The thing is that the decorations are made by metal cassettes, which are also meant for insulating the facades of the apartments. The house dwellers were suggested several variants, from which they chose the pictures of the legendary Mario.
