Liam Neeson was on the verge of losing the respect and confidence of his circle. He didn’t realize the effect his words made.
It all started when one of Nesson’s friends got raped by a dark-skinned man. The star said he had been seeking out black men in his area, hoping to find and kill them to get revenge. Liam became subject to scathing criticism as many thought his statement to be racism. Luckily it didn’t last long, and the actor regrets his actions now.
“It was horrible, horrible, when I think back, that I did that. And I've never admitted that, and I'm saying it to a journalist. God forbid. It’s awful. But I did learn a lesson from it."
