Looks like any kind of transport is dangerous for the actor.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s trip to his grandmother’s homeland years ago could have brought irreparable consequences. The actor’s lifeline could be cut in the most terrible way.

The plane the “Titanic” star took for traveling to Russia was on the verge of collapse. During the Ellen DeGeneres show, Leo told how he noticed the burning engine on the flight. Unlike the movie star, the other passengers were extremely quiet and did not say anything.

In response to DiCaprio’s worried screams, the stewardess reassured him that there was still one more engine running.

“I was on a plane to Russia, and the engine exploded. The entire engine just turned into a fireball. I was the only person there that seemed to see this. I kind of felt like I had already died and gone to heaven cause no one said anything. I was screaming at the top of my lungs. Then the stewardess came out and said, ‘We seem to have a slight problem here.’ A Russian guy finally said, ‘What is the problem?’. She said, ‘Well, we lost one of our engines. We had two. Now we have one.’”
