His days were full of surprises.

Leonardo DiCaprio wasn’t afraid of trying new things. While seeking adventures to satisfy his ambitions, he faced a nearly-death experience.

Guesting on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Leo revealed his skydiving failure. The star recalled the time when he took to the sky and both his main and backup parachutes suffered a mishap. It drew him away from the daredevil stunt for life.

The first parachute was knotted, so the expert had to cut it free, and the second one got tangled too, but after consistent shaking in midair, it unraveled. The actor nearly broke his legs because of going too fast. According to DiCaprio, he would never do such flying again.

"I jumped out of the airplane. And then my first shoot didn't open. It's a tandem so somebody is on your back. So they cut that line. We started free falling towards earth. And that's when you get the eight by 10 glossies of your whole life flashing before your eyes. And then he untangled it and then he told me, 'Oh you're probably going to break your legs now because we're going too fast.”
