Kanye West showed his creativity even in romantic affairs. Of course, a simple dinner with red roses wasn’t gonna do.
On Kim’s 33rd birthday, on October 21, 2013, Kanye popped a question with a 15-carat ring. For the iconic occasion, the “Yeezy” founder put his team on a serious mission called “Donda”.
To organize the event, they hired a basketball stadium and an orchestra that played Lana Del Ray’s “Young and Beautiful”. In his interview with Vanity Fair, Kanye revealed some details of the pre-proposal preparations.
“Yeah, I planned all of that. It was very much a DONDA exercise. Like, I sit with my team of creative, and we’ll say, ‘What’s the best version of this? How can we get this.’”
