John Cena Loves K-Pop Band BTS for What They Do
The actor made millions of people happy with his words.
Despite his seemingly strong body and spirit, John Cena had moments of doubt in his life. There was only one thing saving him at his worst.
A couple of years ago, John Cena proudly confessed on TV to being a big BTS fan. The wrestler turned to the group at vulnerable times. The Korean boys willed him with every message in their songs. As Cena told Jimmy Fallon, he admired the great work 7 artists did not only for themselves but also for the world.
As an example, John mentioned their donation to the “Black lives matter” movement.
“I jam out to them. I love what this band has done. So I got interested in the music, and then I got interested in what the music stood for. They advocate self-love, they advocate don’t be afraid of failure. They advocate that you are enough. And on top of that, they’ve developed this global ARMY, this BTS ARMY, that is not just geeked out fans. Like, BTS donated a million bucks to the Black Lives Matter and the ARMY was like, ‘Yo, if they can do it, we can do it.’ Like, that’s work, man.”
