Here we go Again: Forgotten Trends Return with new Force

The cyclic character of fashion has long been known. Yet, it was quite difficult to forecast the trends of “zero” years would be back now. Oddly enough, innovations are one of the wardrobe's most popular items.

Twenty years ago low-rise jeans were on their peak. Those were fostered by the street style of US metropolis, later spread throughout the world. Curiously, initially those were meant for the poor.

The fashion industry owes the appearance of low-rise jeans on the runaways to Alexander McQueen. That was a very bold decision for the standards of those times. However, the risky initiative justified itself to the fullest.

Now brands like Gucci and Versace are gradually returning the trend of low-rise jeans to fashion. The pioneers of this new-old trend are such models as Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski.
