[link deleted] Founder Mark Zuckerberg Signed Up for Giving Out His Wealth

Being one of the richest persons in the world, Mark Zuckerberg parted with his millions quite easily. He and his wife started several initiatives which were not profitable from a business point of view but made a big difference in people’s lives.

The couple had joined the band of billionaires pledging to donate most of their wealth to charity. An initiative was set up by Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. In September 2016, Mark and Priscilla sold $95 million in their social media stocks so that they could give the proceeds to a good cause.

They plan to sell the stocks in the amount of at least $1 billion each year.

Mark and his spouse focused on improving the education system, city infrastructure, health, and criminal justice policies. All money raised by an organization Chan Zuckerberg Initiative will go into easing these global issues.

Mark’s goal through the initiative is to facilitate personal learning, help cure diseases, connect people and build strong communities.
