Daniel Radcliffe chose to be true to his beliefs even if it meant looking ungrateful. The actor criticized the very creator of his career.
In “The Trevor Project” blog, the Harry Potter star published an article in which he sarcastically accused J. K. Rowling of being judgmental toward representatives of the LGBTQ+ community. Despite his harsh words, Daniel would not have the fame he has today without the author. Radcliffe ended the speech on a positive note wishing only the best to Joanne.
“To all the people who now feel that their experience of the books has been tarnished or diminished, I am deeply sorry for the pain these comments have caused you. I really hope that you don’t entirely lose what was valuable in these stories to you.”
