Despite difficulties, the actress found peace.
Cara Delevingne went through some trouble during the early years because of her appearance. After a long time, the star came forward with a message for the young and downtrodden kind.
The model and actress Cara revealed the depression she suffered from as a teenager made her feel alienated and suicidal. Delevingne, one of the most recognizable faces in the world, told Net-A-Porter's magazine how she was often mistaken for a boy in her youth.
The beauty wanted "life to end" after getting bullied at school for her masculine features. While discussing own career, Delevingne said that her move into acting had given her more of a sense of purpose and made her happier than she had ever been. She regretted her sufferings and wished she could tell her younger self that everything would be better.
“I wish I could have given myself a hug. I wish I’d known that I was still in there somewhere, that I wasn’t my own worst enemy, that I wasn’t trapped.”
