Ariana Grande Didn’t Want to Perform after Manchester Bombing
The artist got lost in her feelings.
While prestigious awards declared Ariana Grande the woman of 2018, the singer was ready to take her final steps. The decision seemed to be made.
The explosion during Grande’s concert in Manchester made her consider leaving the stage. The singer could not perform for the audience for about a year. Only long-term work with psychologists broke the beloved artist out of depression. On Good Morning America, Ariana admitted being completely devastated.
“Cause I initially…I went right home, I went to Florida. I was like, ‘I can't.’ I was like, ‘I'm not putting those costumes on again, I can't sing those songs again. There's no way.’ I was trying to go to sleep that night, and it didn't feel right, it didn't feel like the right decision.”
