American Idol Contestant Didn’t Want Katy Perry to Kiss Him
A lot of people would dream of being that guy.
While Katy Perry thought she was doing a favor for the “American Idol” participant, the young man was quick to confess his feelings. One of the most popular Internet videos isn’t cute.
During the music project, the singer suddenly kissed the audition participant Benjamin Glaze. The young man had admitted he had never kissed a girl, and Perry decided to correct the misfortune. Benjamin opened up in a conversation with the New York Times shortly after that.
He said he never wanted to share his first with the star.
“I was a tad bit uncomfortable. I wanted to save it for my first relationship. I wanted it to be special. Would I have done it if she said, ‘Would you kiss me?’ No, I would have said no. I know a lot of guys would be like, ‘Heck yeah!’ But for me, I was raised in a conservative family and I was uncomfortable immediately. I wanted my first kiss to be special.”
