Per The Sun,the celebrity wore that extension because her own hair was “broken” and looked “ratchet”.From 2010 to 2013, Ariana played Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon’s “Victorious”series. The character was a redhead, meaning Grande frequently used the dye on herself. And already in 2014, the star resorted to a ponytail as her music career took off.
“I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first 4 years of playing Cat... as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair.I wear it in a ponytail because my actual hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down."
