The celebrity has a big heart.
Apart from being a renowned musician, Jon recently acquired the status of a people’s patron. The artist didn’t sit idly when those we owed our peace to couldn’t overcome the difficulties of civil life.
Through his Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, the star donated $500,000 to help build a new apartment facility in Washington for homeless veterans. He spoke about it during an interview on CNN’s The Lead with Jake Tapper.
Jovi cares deeply about war heroes’ problems, and his organization is there to give them a little “extra help.”
The Foundation had previously constructed homes for persons in need. In the past, it had opened JBJ Soul Homes, a multi-purpose building for troubled teenagers, street people, and other low-income communities.
“Oftentimes, [veterans are] left to deal with PTSD [Post Traumatic Stress Disorder] and the issue of coming back to the workplace after leaving the battlefield… Life as you know it is going to be different, and sometimes, people need that extra help."
