Natalie Portman Was Discovered Eating a Slice of Pizza

Natalie Portman was in the right place at the right time. She sat for an important meeting in a pizza parlor.

At the age of 10, after dance classes, Natalie went to a restaurant for a pizza and met a guy from Revlon. He asked Portman to be a model for the brand, but the star said she wanted to perform instead. The stranger introduced her to modeling agents, and they, in turn, introduced her to acting agents.

Natalie then spent three summers at theater camps, gaining her first experiences in the roles of Dream Laurey in "Oklahoma!" and Hermia in "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

So it took a dance class, some pizza, and a chance meeting for the celebrity to become one of the greatest actresses.
