There could’ve been one more musical masterpiece if not for this incident.
Freddie Mercury was terrified by Michael Jackson’s favorite “friend”. The legends would have made a fantastic duet, but the recording failed for the strangest reason.
In a documentary made by BBC, the Queen soloist’s manager Jim “Miami” Beach, said how llama Loui scared the hell out of Mercury. The llama was Jackson’s beloved pet. The King of Pop loved the animal so much that he even brought it to the studio.
After meeting the unusual companion, Freddie called Miami and asked to get him out of that place.
“They got on well except for the fact that I suddenly got a call from Freddie, saying, ‘Miami, dear, can you get on over here. You've got to get me out of this studio.’ I said, ‘Well what is the problem?’ He said, ‘I'm recording with a llama... Michael's bringing his pet llama into the studio everyday and I'm really not used to recording with a llama and I've had enough and I want to get out.’”
