Kanye West was ready for anything so that his beloved wife, Kim Kardashian, would stay by his side, sacrificing her career prospects. Kim, on her part, did not mind supporting the husband.
Years ago, when the rapper and reality star were still together, Kim admitted that her Grammy-winning beau had given her $1 million for not advertising the rival brand. During Ashley Graham’s podcast, the star told how she received the offer of cooperation and refused a good deal after discussing it with Ye.
To atone for his “sins”, West not only presented an expensive check but also shared percentages of Yeezy with Kardashian.
“A brand offered me a million dollars to do a post on some of their clothing. It's great money but they typically knock off Yeezy. I said, ‘Let me ask Kanye how he feels about it.’ And he’s like ‘No, babe, I don’t want you to do that’. He happened to be recording out of town, and I got an envelope. I open the envelope, and it's a million-dollar check and a note saying, ‘Thank you for always supporting me and not posting.’ The rest was a contract to be an owner of Yeezy — to have my percentage.”
