During the Late Late Show with James Corden, the “One Direction” singer detailed the story of his son’s unusual name. Liam was worried sick about his kid and had specialists running in and out because Bear would make strange noises in his sleep.
Several doctors examined the baby, but only one figured out his “condition” and said everything was fine. The newborn just liked to fool around, producing weird sounds. And that’s where the “Bear” idea came from.
“I had like 10 doctors in the room and in the end one said, ‘Dude, I’m not being funny, there’s nothing wrong with him, he just likes to make a lot of noise.’ And that’s carried on ever since, so he just became Bear.”
