France 24 reports that 3000 tons of Ferrero products, including Kinder, have been withdrawn from the European markets. The sweets contained salmonella, which mainly targeted children under 10 years old. The head of Ferrero France, Nicolas Neykov, came forward, revealing the cause of such a radical decision:
